Brown Rice Risotto with Zayka Basmati


Ingredients Used

  • 2 CUPS OF RIPURAJ ZAYKA BASMATI RICE
  • 1 CUP OF MUSHROOMS, CHOPPED
  • 1 BIG ONION, CHOPPED
  • 1 SMALL TOMATO, CHOPPED
  • 1 TABLESPOON GARLIC, CHOPPED
  • 1 TABLESPOON RED CHILLY
  • 2 TABLESPOONS CREAM
  • ¼ CUP CHEDDAR CHEESE
  • 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
  • 2 TABLESPOON EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE
  • 4 CUPS OF VEGETABLE STOCK

Steps

  • IN A DEEP PAN ADD OLIVE OIL HEAT WELL AND ADD GARLIC SAUTE A LITTLE ADD CHOPPED ONION SAUTE TILL TRANSLUCENT.
  • ADD CHOPPED MUSHROOMS SAUTE WELL THEN ADD SOAKED RICE SAUTE WELL.
  • ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES TOSS WELL AND ADD STOCK, SALT, RED CHILLY FLAKES AND FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER.
  • CLOSE THE LID AND COOK TILL THE RICE COOKS WELL.
  • THEN ADD CREAM, CHEESE AND BUTTER STIR WELL THEN TRANSFER TO A SERVING DISH AND GARNISH WITH CILANTRO AND SERVE.
